Re: the Official Iraq Football Thread 2006 Good luck to Iraq's soccer team in all it accomplishes. My father is from there and the 2004 Olympic team was a source of pride. Hopefully the future holds bright as that youth builds for Asian and World Cups.

Re: the Official Iraq Football Thread 2006 Lebanon-Iraq friendly snowed off A friendly between Lebanon and Iraq in the run-up to the AFC Asian Cup 2007 qualification round had to be postponed due to snowing in the Lebanese capital Beirut on Wednesday. Lebanon, coached by Adnan Al Sharqi, are in Group D with Bahrain, Kuwait and Australia while Iraq are alongside China, Singapore and Palestine. The Palestinians, meanwhile, arrived in Amman after a friendly against the Syrian national team which they lost 0-3. Re: the Official Iraq Football Thread 2006 Oman - Iraq 1-0. Iraq red card in 61 min Razzaq Farhan , Oman scored in 77 min Khalifa Ayil.
Re: the Official Iraq Football Thread 2006 Oman 1-0 Iraq We played with the …. No I will not make some excuses Our team was the 2nd team Ahmed Kadim, Nashat Akram, Hawar Mulla Mohammed, Salih Sadir, Samal Saeed and more 4 players didn’t played And Razzaq Farhan, Emad Mohammed, and Younsi Mahmoud came to Oman by 2 hours before the match Actually emad mohammed came from Iran before the match by half hour And whos Khalid Mushir and Mohammed Haji? and why Haider Abdul-amir and Yassir raad, and Jassim Swadi didn’t played in there position Oman dominating after the sent off, and yes what razzaq Farhan did was wrong, Any way before the sent off we had some dangerous chances actually thanks to the refree that disallowed our goal, Oman couldn’t pass our strong defense, for the goal, its came by a good header, any way congratulations to Oman and hard luck to Iraq This is a Friendly match, and Oman team are beatable, so Oman have a lot of work to do. In meanwhile our team didn’t complete yet, our coach said it once, we went to Lebanon with 16 players, and we will play against Oman missing players, but then we will face Thailand we will complete the team. this is our squad against Oman Noor Sabri Jassim Mohammed Haji (new to Akram Salan Squad) Ali Hussain Rahima Bassim Abbas Khalid Mushir (new to Akram Salan Squad) Jassim Swadi (new to Akram Salan Squad) Qusay Munir Haitham Kadim (Stupid player) Haider Abdul-Amir (not in his position) Younis Mahmoud Loai Salah and this is our 1st squad Noor Sabri Haider Abdul Amir or Samal Saeed Ahmed Kadhim Ali Hussain Rahima Bassim Abbas Mahdi Karim Hawar Mulla Mohammed Nashat Akarm Qusay Munir or Salih Sadir Younis Mahmoud Emad Mohammed or Razzaq Farhan PS: why when Palestine team lose, every one say, yes the team are not complete and when Iraq lose you ignore that?
Re: the Official Iraq Football Thread 2006 Well maybe because Iraqs skill kinda covers up for thier inconvenience. Iraq are acctually an AMAZING side just because they manage to play so well considering all the hardship they go through.
Re: the Official Iraq Football Thread 2006 thanks SF23, thanks for your comment I appreciate it, but really, people should feel our situation and thanks for edited the other post

Re: the Official Iraq Football Thread 2006 ONLY RUMORS some people said Thailand 4:2 Iraq others said Iraq 5:0 Thailand and recently they said Iraq 0:3 Thailand I Actually don’t care, because it’s a friendly match
Re: the Official Iraq Football Thread 2006 I think we lose 4:2, any way Hard luck for Iraq and Congratulations for Thailand its just a Friendly match.
Re: the Official Iraq Football Thread 2006 yeah we lose but this time the result different from all the rumors we lose 3:4
Re: the Official Iraq Football Thread 2006 Ridha score all 3 goals for Iraq , sorry got not the Thai scorers. 3-2 half time result
Re: the Official Iraq Football Thread 2006 Thank God that was a friendly...how could our FA cram 2 games in 3 days!? Not to mention they had to fly all the way from Oman to Thailand. Anyway, hopefully the team gets back on track by the time Asian Cup Qualifiers come around. I think after these friendlies Akram Salman will definitely have to drop those few new players that he brought, they're useless. We should stick with our West Asian Games squad...but Yassir Raad should be taken out, and Haithem Kadhum should be kept as a sub only! Congrats to all Thailand fans.
