He was very serviceable last season and any serviceable big man will get good money in the free agent market. Good luck to him.

As far as Jack's role taking turns handling the ball alongside Curry, Iggie will be an upgrade. Not sure about who will play PG when Curry sits, but so far they have Machado, Bazemore and the Serbian draftee. I think replacing Landry with another big is a more urgent need, especially with Biedrins also gone and Festus hurt. I read that Dubs like Maurice Speights. Sounds like a reasonable alternative. But I'm sure they have a plan. Love what they're doing.
I like Speights. He had good games against us when he was on the Grizz. With Iggy in the lineup this probably means small ball with Barnes first off the bench. That's pretty good, just need a big body or two because no way can we rely on Bogut to play a lot.
Actually it's Marreese Speights, not Maurice. And reportedly he is signing with the Warriors. Good news!
Just signed Toney Douglas for a year. Another great signing and another boost for our defense. Curry struggled against Douglas last year when Douglas was on the Kings. And Toney has been known to undress Chris Paul. Also picked up Jermaine O'Neal for the bench!
I was watching GSW yesterday. A really tough game to watch, 50 point by each side in 40 minutes. Anyway I saw a player (I think his name was McGhee), that was pretty good defensively. Are the Warriors looking for more bigs to add?
Never heard of him. It's summer league though so expect it to be the Kent Bazemore show all tourney long to get him ready for the regular season where he will ride the pine and continue his role as the league's best cheerleader. Last year's bench of bigs was Landry, Biedrins, Ezeli the rookie, and sometimes Jeremy Tyler. Only Ezeli is left and he's out for awhile. Warriors picked up Spieghts and Jermaine O'Neal, which is quite the bench upgrade, but while Ezeli's gone perhaps Coach Jackson will keep a guy like McGhee at the end of the bench.
Granted, there's AI and Yao Ming in these highlights so they're a bit old. But still we've picked up a really good finisher at the rim which has to help out our fairly crappy fastbreaks.
Summer League final tonight: Warriors vs. Suns. Warriors haven't lost a Summer League game in forever and are led by Kent Bazemore, the LeBron James of Las Vegas.
Warriors best the Suns 91 to 77 to win the inaugural Summer League tourney and continue their longstanding dominance in the desert. Warriors haven't lost a game in Vegas in 2 years. Ian Clark (who?) had 33 points off the bench for the Dubs and was the game's MVP. He joins a growing list of Summer League Warriors' legends that include Klay Thompson and Marco Belinelli.
