Good to see Barnes hustle to get the starting role and I hope that means the question of his work ethic in college will soon be put to bed.

Great news! I'm glad Barnes was able to play well enough in preseason to convince coach. That's a good sign. I like Rush, but he's better as a backup for both the 2 and 3, plus with Barnes we get much more upside potential.

It's definitely good news about Harrison Barnes, though hopefully Stephen Curry and Andrew Bogut can start the season opener as well.

We're all in with Curry. News is that he got a four year extension worth about $11 million per.

    Come on, ankles...

    1-0. :)

The visiting Golden State Warriors triumphantly rose over the Phoenix Suns in the season opener. :D

Next up: the home opener against the Memphis Grizzlies on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area HD on Friday.

Everyone's talking about the stinkers that Lee and Curry put up. Fair enough, but if they had just had average games it would have been a blowout.

Finally might have some skilled big men this year. Tomorrow's home opener against the Grizz should be a nice test.

If he's gone for long, who could the team add to the team?

I dunno, it would at least mean that Barnes is going to play A LOT.

    2-1. :)

Even without playing Andrew Bogut the entire game, Golden State clipped the Clippers at Los Angeles today. :D

Next up: a trip upstate to the Sacramento Kings on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area HD on Monday.

Coach Jackson says he's not going to play Bogut on the 2nd of back-to-backs for awhile.

    This one was for Rush.

That's too bad, though understandable. :(

Definitely. Hopefully the team picks up another player so as not to overextend the other players, though.

Played terrible for 90% of the game, didn't deserve to win. I am LOVING the more aggressive Klay Thompson though. He'll get game winners to fall down consistently soon.

It's also the first time I can remember that both NBA teams wore their away uniforms in the same game.
