That is ok. I have been rooting for Liverpool the last few years whenever they play against Manchester City. Then I want to vomit afterwards and feel disgusted.
Bad news: today is the Warriors' regular season finale. Good news: today won't be the Warriors' last game until next season. -G
47-35. Stephen Curry broke the NBA's single-season three-point scoring record as Golden State held on to the No. 6 seed in the NBA Western Conference playoffs by finishing the regular season with a win at the Portland Trail Blazers. Next up: the W's will open the playoffs at the Denver Nuggets on both Comcast SportsNet Bay Area HD and ESPN HD on Saturday. -G

congrats to the Warriors for a great season. Grew up admiring Mark Jackson's skill as a player and I'm glad to see him continue to do well as the coach of this group of young talented players. Congrats to Curry too. Dude can straight up ball
2013 NBA Western Conference Quarterfinal (best-of-seven): 0-1. The Golden State Warriors' comeback came up just short as they lost a heartbreaker at the Denver Nuggets. Next up: Game 2 in Denver on both Comcast SportsNet Bay Area HD and TNT HD on Tuesday. -G
Ugh. Saw an article that Andre Miller had never hit a game winner in his career. Not in the NBA, not in college, not in high school. Until last night. David Lee has a right hip flexor strain. Not sure if/when he can return.
2013 NBA Western Conference Quarterfinal (best-of-seven): 1-1. The Golden State Warriors rallied from the loss of David Lee to even the series at the Denver Nuggets. Next up: Game 3 at Oracle Arena on both Comcast SportsNet Bay Area HD and ESPN2 HD on Friday. -G
That was a gem. An absolute shooting masterclass. You can't have that game every time, but wow, that was impressive. How about that rookie tandem of Barnes, Green, and Ezeli? When was the last team to win a playoff game with three first year players making significant contributions?
"Of course I overcame a twisted ankle. I'm Steph Curry. A twisted ankle to me is just an ankle. A sprained ankle for me feels like a twisted ankle for you. I need to have my entire foot removed from my shin at this point to be fazed by my ankle."
Hopefully the Oracle Arena crowd on Friday will provide the current team at least as loud and excited a boost as it did during 2007 playoffs. -G
2013 NBA Western Conference Quarterfinal (best-of-seven): 2-1. The Golden State Warriors edged out the visiting Denver Nuggets to take a 2-1 lead in the series. Next up: Game 4 at Oracle Arena on both Comcast SportsNet Bay Area HD and TNT HD on Sunday. -G
Roaracle arena! That place was loud. The rookie trio was again instrumental with Barnes stepping up big for the second consecutive game in the absence of Lee. Curry on a bad ankle still leads the way, Jack has been great. Klay has a terrible game and we still survive. On the other side, I don't get some of things the Nugs do. Fournier starts every game, nowhere to be seen in the fourth. Koufus and McGee are a clown show. Lawsom scores 30 but gives up 40, for such a fast guy he's pretty terrible on defense. And he's not small like Curry. Brewer is killing us for three quarters and then poof! he's invisible. I know all year Nuggets fans on forums have been after George Karl's head; if they don't get out of this round he's a goner. Also, ESPN I beg you to please not have Jon Barry on Warriors games anymore. It's so obvious he has some residual dislike for them due to his daddy issues. (That last statement might be irrational and wholly without facts. Deal with it. )
Hopefully it'll continue as it recently has. Just imagine if David Lee and Brandon Rush weren't injured -G
Missed it cause I was driving down to LA. From the highlights it looked awesome, can't wait for the next one. What was Barry saying? He's always kind of a dick, but was he dissing the dubs?
2013 NBA Western Conference Quarterfinal (best-of-seven): 3-1. The Golden State Warriors defeated the visiting Denver Nuggets to push their series lead to three games to one. Next up: Game 5 in Denver on both Comcast SportsNet Bay Area HD and TNT HD on Tuesday. -G
Had to listen to the whole game on a very weak KNBR signal from Vegas back to San Diego but wow what a third quarter! Roaracle sounded like it was exploding. Like I said I'm biased but just listen to him. Sure, he strokes Curry like everyone else on TV right now but anytime another Dubs player does something offensively, he's usually quick to criticize the Nuggets for their defense than praise the Dubs on offense. He also picked the Nuggets in 5 so now that that's shot maybe he'll be more even on his color commentary.
