Georgia won't be a cupcake, but a team that can't beat them and Florida has no business in the B(C)S title game. Neither should pose a problem for LSU. Georgia should not have posed as much of a problem for Bama as they did.

You're right.. both teams are very liable of choking. Aaron Murray will probably end up winning the game for us.. good ole Murray, but both teams are better than last season. Kinda thankful we don't have to face South Carolina this season, who imo will win the East on the back of the Heisman candidate Clowney.

Georgia is Georgia. All the time. They're a mid-tier conference team that can beat any of them on a given day and win when the big dogs are all down. But they're not perennial contendas, and they're not as good as LSU or Bama this season.

I think LSU's finally gotten over the hump of drifting back and forth between tiers. They're gonna be a destination program for a long time after Miles leaves. Georgia hasn't quite gotten there yet. But LSU's problem is a revived Bama in their own division. That'll be the case as long as Saban is there.

He's back. Fewer Miles allowed his players to vote on his punishment. Don't know when he'll play, but TCU's head coach Gary Patterson has already begun whining about it.

    http://espn.go.com/dallas/college-f...-gary-patterson-not-fan-lsu-voting-discipline

Uh, Gary, you're at someplace called ...TCU. We found out in 2010 that your team, your players and your program don't matter, so STFU and go lose. Or go win- you're not going anywhere but a B(C)S non-title bowl game in either case.

Yea he caught stick for it.. Kirk Herbstreit defended him and his decision to reinstate him saying that, Jeremy Hill coming back was based on a team decision and how he won't even comeback as a starter due to all of the spring practice time he's missed. He'll have to try and beat out the #1 Alfred Blue who came back from a season ending injury last season and Kenny Hilliard.. It is what it is, he'll be starting with Alfred Blue.. pretty excited because both can be premier backs in the NFL.

lol Gay Patterson should be worried about his players dropping like flies, hasn't he like lost 3 just this week due to injuries? They're gonna get crushed in Jerry World.

btw LSU has signed a deal with Wisconsin Badgers to play them in a home and away.. the home will be played in 2014 on Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, while the away will be played in 2016 on Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Both opening games of each others season.

I have also liked Gary Patterson from his days as an assistant at K-state but he is never going to be contending for a national title.

I thought it was four players. I could be wrong, tho.

I don't see Wisconsin doing anything much.

IIRC, someone from a relevant program wanted him after the 2010 season, but he opted to stay at TCU. Hey, at least he's well-paid compared to most Americans...

Wisconsin is definitely willing to take on a challenge. Opening against LSU in 2014/16 & Alabama in 2015. Kudos to the Badgers.

South Carolina "gassed" from this UNC offense.. just imagine what offenses like Clemson, Georgia, or Florida will do to South Carolina.

Clowney has not been a huge factor either.. man do these kids not play practice either???

There is a difference between being in great shape and football shape. Clowney might not have been working to hard in practice.

If Clinton were still in office I'd be willing to bet the gymnastics, softball, and golf teams would have been invited.

Warmth in the winter, shade in the summer, yessur! Monica was just a bit big for my taste, but that's why we're all different. Marilyn was no stick doll herself- both he and JFK did well.
