I would not mind Puma sponsoring mexico either. I love their stuff, every time I go to the outlet mall I can't help but get something.

This is somewhat true. Either euros or nacos at that store.

Mexico awarded a top seed in the draw meaning we avoid GB, Spain, and Brazil in the group stages.

Very nice, although we could still get Switzerland or Uruguay in our group.

From what I understand, since Uruguay are in the same regional plot as us, we'd also avoid them (and Honduras for that matter). Also I'm hearing we have already been placed into group B which means we play July 26 Newcastle, July 29 Coventry, and August 1 Cardiff.

So our Euro side will be either Belarus or Switzerland. No Uruguay or Honduras, we hope for United Arab and then one from the African/Australia pot.

I like the respect we´ve been getting lately. Or how do they do the draws?

Respect from where we were. But true respect is placing us on C or D. This means England figured that out of Spain Brazil and Mexico they rather play a semi with us. So in the bigger picture, that was the opposite of respect.

I am surprised, but at the same time we knew Brazil and Spain would get top seeds (or figured anyway)... so the other one could go to Uruguay or another Euro, but being that there is already Brazil and two Euros, we were logical choice...at least IMHO.

Holy crap... we could theoretically end up with Belarus, Gabon & Oman in our group... Group of Flan... however the way drawings traditionally go Brazil will end up with those teams & Mexico will gets Switzerland, Japan & Senegal which would be the Group of Death

If 1966 WC was any indicator, they will throw the hard stuff into C & D, thus getting these groups

    A
    England
    Honduras
    UA-Emirates
    Morocco

    B
    Mexico
Belarus (why risk England against Switzerland so early)
    New Zealand
    Gabon (or whatever)

    C
    Brazil
    Switzerland
    Japan
    Senegal (or whatever)

    D
    Spain
    Uruguay
    South Korea
    Egypt (or whatever)

    E (played online on PS3)
    USA
    Argentina
    Ze Germans
Portugal y la putita de Ronalda.

that's how it is going down me thinks.

    July 26 2012
    Mexico-South Korea

    July 29 2012
    Mexico-Gabon

    August 1 2012
    Mexico-Switzerland

Mexico should be favorites. Second place is wide open, with not knowing a whole lot about the rest in our group I say South Korea goes through. Also if my calculations are correct Mexico first game would be at 6:30 PT 9:30 ET on a Thursday sucks for people who go to school/work and i'm one of them.
