I agree but he was still a better choice than ahn jung hwan. He had a lull period of like ~ 6 months b/c of the failed PSG saga.
he was a free agent and banked on his European rumors. His agent failed to get anything done. There might have been a k-league transfer rule which prohibited him in joining a K-club mid season so he had to wait it out until the next transfer window. He was called up for a couple WCQ matches during his lull period. He performed very poorly. He was even given a pity penalty to boost his confidence
LOL I still remember all of us laughing our asses off when LKH was ripping J-League a gaping new asshole with Jubilo Iwata.
Expect a friendly in Craven Cottage on 6th of Feb next year. Croatia and Uruguay are the teams that are wanted by KFA. [EDIT: Its most likely we will play Croatia in Craven Cottage on the 6th Feb] http://sports.news.naver.com/sports...&mod=read&office_id=241&article_id=0002111775
Make it happen, a friendly away from home and against two strong opponents. I'm a bit tired of having and seeing matches @ 상암.
Would be nice if we could play the friendlies in Croatia, instead of playing in front of a crowd of 100 people.
I know we played there once this year, but I'd much rather have and see our Home matches at the likes of 화성 despite our Home ground being 상암. (It was nice to have a friendly vs Australia at a venue other than 서울 for a change.)
I think we should be like the Americans and not have a fixed home ground. We have plenty of nice stadiums, why not put them to use? I guess the concern is being far away from the training center in Paju (is that why we've played in Goyang a few times?). I remember one of those matches in Jeonju had a good atmosphere.
Croatia FA confirm this friendly at Craven Cottage http://www.hns-cff.hr/info-centar/novosti/hrvatska-u-veljaci-protiv-republike-koreje
John Duerden chimes in: John Duerden@JohnnyDuerden Looks like South Korea will play Croatia in London in February.
The Croatian Football Federation has announced the national team will meet Southern Korea in a friendly in London on February 6th. The match will take place at Fulham's stadium Craven Cottage. "Craven Cottage is one of the best pitches in the Premiership", Croatian Football Federation president Davor Suker told daily newspaperVecernji List. The friendly with Southern Korea will be a test for Croatian team prior to the rest of the World Cup qualifiers, especially for the upcoming match against Serbia. http://www.croatiantimes.com/news/Sports/2012-12-13/31347/Croatia_to_meet_South_Korea_in_London
Just a theoretical question, if (or when) HMB takes over the NT, I'm quite sure he's going to change who the captain is from Kwak to someone else. Who do you think is bet for the job? IMO I would say either Koo or Ki. Neither of them really take BS from anyone and are solid midfield players.
I agree with most of the choices but wasn't a concern back in the day that Jung Sung Ryong wasn't vocal enough to the other players? I completely forgot about HJH. The guy was tailored and groomed to become HMB 2.0
