Not alot going on in this thread i see!

1W-2L-3SOTL for 5 points in 6 games to start the season. Atleast the team is alot younger and Wilson has them working hard.

BTW, we're playing in Boston tonight...

There is a thread in the ice hockey forum this year that gets little traffic too.

True dat. Last game of the TFC season tonight, conveniently right after the Leafs play Ottawa. Forum traffic likely to dwindle even more...

Wow what a hockey game. Leafs win 5-2. They scored all five goals in the second half of the 3rd period in a span of 4:21. This team is so much fun to watch: hard working, fast, exciting, and this team is REBUILDING!!!!!

Quite the whoopin' of those dirty pricks from Montreal on Saturday! :D

The Leafs start a 3-game western road swing tonight in Calgary.

Well it looks like the Burke era begins with the trading of his boy Brad May who he had when he was with the Ducks and Canucks. I think it was okay move, not the type of move many were hoping for but it add more toughness to the team which is something lacked. Also with this move they sent down Nikolia Kulemin to the Marlies.

With the draft coming up in a couple weeks, we have a chance of getting someone really good with the #7 pick. But there is a chance we could be moving up. I don't have a problem with moving up as long as it's reasonable.

Burke says Leafs aiming for Playoffs....haha hes been smoking more of the magic weed again..the only thing the Loser Leafs have in their plans in the opening of the gold season in early April, as is their usual traditional.
Another season without playoff hockey in Toronto, its so wonderfull,
well they always have the jays..whoops no playoffs there...Raptors..
possible playoff action..wont last long if they do make it..Argos..the worst
of Torontos sports teams..cant win in a crap league..Rock looking good so far in 2010 2-0!! At least Burke keeps the leafs as a running joke and we need as much humor as possible to get us through Harpers communist Government!!

This one's dead - the one with traffic is in the Other Sports sub forum.

    He found that one too.

So what does everyone think of today's trades? Big win for the buds, though I'll miss Stajan and Mayers.

This season is now a writeoff, but the potential for making the playoffs next season are much greater.

Lets see the Make me laughs will attempt to make the playoffs after a 4 year absence and fail to do so...the golf courses in Ontario plan to reopen in late March just as a special favor to Leaf management/players and fans alike...they will even have blue balls for the occassion and that will have nothing weather connected..44 years and counting since Lord Stanleys
tin cup last visited Toronto and if there is a hockey god..may it be another 44 years at leats before playoff hockey/stanley cup comes back to Toronto,,TO deserves this franchise...

They looked alright last night, though the Habs are not a real force in themselves. They're not contenders though the playoffs I think are possible for this year.

If nothing else they were well co-ordinated, the real issue was that they had too many defensive lapses and let Montreal have too much access to the net. Some big saves from Giguere were the difference between the win and a loss/draw.

I missed it for work reasons - either way I'm glad we started off on the right foot.

BTW, most of the leafs discussion is here
