Off work studying for an exam and taking a break, and letting my brain wander. And this may come off as random... Crazy Idea: Take it with a grain of salt since it would never happen. Just me thinking outloud: Juve should just crowd fund the $$$ for players. I'm sure there are enough Juve fans world-wide that could fund a star lol. If Toronto can crowd fund a $200k to watch a video of its mayor smoking crack, I don't see why Juve can't make a promotion: "Fans...buy a player" Crowd fund some cash, offer to match the money raised, and allow the fans to vote on 5 targets in that price range. Crazy idea, but all this crowd-funding lately makes me think its feasible. No matter what - even if $200,000 was raised...you could still spend $400,000 to buy some young player to play in the academy. It would be novel, and would get all those armchair managers excited.
