I think Howedes has fallen so short of his standard set last season

He was a complete disaster today.

Even though the who Schalke defence was in shambles Papadopoulous and Fuchs still looked better than him

He keeps falling way below Hummels, Boateng and Holger with every game

 

He had to cover for the dreadful Metzelder today, shame, thats someone who has really suffered - he used to be one of the best in the world back in the day.

Regardless, Howedes has fallen in quality because of the lack of quality in their defense.

 

He's done just fine. Do we forget that he's not a RB?
