Higher than Chivas USA's standing in 2012! Sorry ... ... (Couple podcasts up there I don't know about. And there's a couple podcasts that I listed as defunct that suddenly reappeared recently. I should really update this thread.)
Team podcasts is it's own separate tier. I don't think I should include it in this ranking. Those 8 podcasts are the only team podcasts I listen to (plus ESPN #On Frame about RSL) so in reality Chivas is in dead last..... .....but you beat out all the other podcasts I don't listen to cus...well...I listen to you! Vivas Las Chivas! I am new to What the Flock but so far, i'm a fan.
Anyone have any comments on how NASN is trying to take over the American socer audio world? Or what's i nstore for CSRN? Or maybe I'm the only "non soccer podcaster" who cares about these very important issues. Soccer Podcast Politics! OH YEAHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S I'm a Galaxy season ticker holder/lifelong fan. But I have a partial Chivas USA season tickets.
My soccer podcast rankings: The Total Soccer Show is by far the best US soccer podcast, it's pretty much the only one with actual soccer analysis, most others are the ESPN / sports talk radio style loud stating of uninformed opinions as analysis (eg Simon Borg, but others to a lesser extent). Yanks Abroad would be up there if it was 80-90%+ Brian Sciaretta instead of 30%, and if he had a decent phone or internet connection so you could actually hear what he was saying. March to the Match would be up there (based on the personnel) if it wasn't structured to just be previews of upcoming MLS games.
My fav Philadelphia Union podcast is the DoopCast. Very underrated, quality production. As far as the big ones go, Best Soccer Show and ETR are my favs.
Are we really a team podcast? Oh well. Thanks for listening tour show. We tried our best to make our sorry ass season at least tolerable through our podcast. ELAC
Used the search function and couldn't find anywhere else to put this. I appreciate anyone willing to take a listen. Pretty new at this whole thing and just learning the ropes but maybe you will enjoy. "What Band is Your MLS Team" has gotten a pretty decent response (be open minded) http://www.soccerpluseshow.com/2013/06/26/episode-2-what-band-is-your-mls-team/
I've made a note of the above. This is the new thread: https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/threads/the-soccer-podcast-project-mls-usa-and-canada.1984364/ Mods -- Could you do me a favor and close this out-of-date thread?
