Vieira is old, and a little too attacking. I wold rather we keep Edmilson and Motta. If we get rid of Motta then we are stuck with two 30 year old DMs whjo we would have to find replacements for both.

I would rather we get a new goalkeeper or another world class fullback.

i`m on your side and i doubt we will be making any more major transfers. Edmilson did a great job last season and we have enough midfielders as cover, let us not forget that last season Iniesta played great plus Van Bommel and there is Motta.

We don`t need to be like the old Real Madrid of having all the super stars. I feel that we can compete with the very best at this stage. Like Asta said, let us now invest in the youth scheme.

Rodri has been sold to Depor but we have first option on him in the future if he shines at the Riazor just like in the case of Damia.

Most likely destination for Trez is Lyon or in the premiership, however he may even stay in the Serie A depending. His wages are not actually that high compared to the other Juve star names but still i doubt he will playing for us this campaign.

Might it possibly be my username involving Man United? Or the fact that you will probably assume i am a glory hunter who only started supporting Barcelona after the Champions league victory(even though that is far from the truth) Just some ideas

Overmars...your news was good...i enjoyed it....but I regard Overmars as dollar for dollar the worst Barca investment.

Thank you. I don't care if he was a bust or not he was still a wonderful player in his prime even if he played for the Gooners.

He was a legend alright, a legend for Arsenal and Holland.

He sucked ass for the blaugrana (considering how much we got ripped off for him). Anyone who says otherwise is either an Arsenal or Holland fanboy ;)

Lol i know i look paranoid but i just got invloved in an argument with DS over on the MU forum and that can be quite daunting. And yeh i definetley agree on Overmars. I mean buying Overmars and Petit was hardly going to make the fans optimistic after the Judas incident. Also i think we slightly overpiad for them... but just slightly ;)

Just for perspective.....we paid 35 million for Overmars.....this was more than what we paid for Ronaldinho!!!!

I dont know...he was a very predictable and frustrating player for Barca. He did have moments of brillaince but again they were brief moments. I dont know how much the situation with his knee played into this but it is doubtful that Arsenal knew something was wrong with him when he was offloaded.

I remember once seeing this fantastic goal Overmars scored for Barca, dummied two guys on the left and swooped in and blasted it past the keeper.

    Once.

Exactly my point. Gaspart must have thought we needed to buy a big player after the loss of Figo, so where the hell did he get the idea of buying Overmars from.
