Was the referee forum always a place for fans of a team to go bitch about a call that went against their team? I haven't checked it until recently so I didn't know. I would have thought it's more a place for neutrals to consider a given call as an instructive case study. Yeah, I'm talking about another thread about a call the went against our favorite MLS team.
Yeah, its gotten bad in there this season. I've been a regular reader for a few years now and it has always been more of what you described it as, until the last couple of months.
I remember helpful people in the past explaining how calls are made. So I was interested to hear how people call handballs, but I don't think those folks have jumped in to that thread yet.
He can make fun of his old employer all he wants, but it's not like the team was lights-out quality or putting butts in seats while he was there.
Real Colorado Foxes at home for the USOC First round, Tuesday May 15, 7PM, vs. the KC Athletics. (While I generally like throwback names, it's a strange team to play homage to, 829-1224 W-L.) Dammit, I can't insert the link, here's the URL for the story on the Rapids' site: http://www.coloradorapids.com/news/2012/05/us-soccer-announces-open-cup-1st-and-2nd-rd-pairings
WOW is right Too bad for Holden's Bolton side getting relegated Did you see the cut too United who was celebrating winning league then finding out they didn't
That was an incredible finish. I'm disappointed that City ended up winning. The way QPR fought in that game, especially after the Barton red, had me believing it was going to fall to United, but what a flurry at the end.
And Arsenal is back in the Champions League. With that said, this just further proves that to win the EPL, you just need money. That league can't go on forever... unless every team is owned by a Saudi prince.
Watching the Philly/NY game... I'm SO glad that CO got rid of Ballouchy. I couldn't stand him as a Dallas fan, and now as a CO fan I can't stand him either. I don't think I could ever pull for him in a Rapids jersey.
Especially when you factor in we traded Kyle Beckerman for him, although I did once sit next to his parents several years ago and they were very nice. Had to bite my tongue alot that game...
Any other cycling fans? Already enjoying the Tour of California in preparation for August's USA Pro Cycling challenge here in Colorado.
