The new MLS-unified Burn website is live. Check it out!
Looks good to me. I hope they put up a webcam of stadium construction to go with the pictures.
Sweet glory halleluah!!!!! A respectable website. Looks good.
I was working that myself, until I found out what webcams cost.
At which point I had to opt out.
when the Burn site last changed format they had a video section with highlights from previous seasons, I miss that. It hadn't been working on the old site for about a year and a half and now its gone obviously.
Wish they'd bring it back, I loved watching those 1999 playoff highlights vs Chicago
If you liked it send them an email. Tell them you like it.
Send them an e-mail? BRILLIANT!
Something is wrong with the new site. I cannot find the link to 3rd Degree.
When I said a respectable website of course I was referring to a website run by the Burn/MLS. 3rd Degree is very respectable and still my Burn source.
The picture quality is an improvement over the old site. Having all teams adopt the same format and same provider is obviously a big help. But for content, 3rd degree still rules. The Burn still can't get the content up to date. Check out the three week old Brad Davis diary.
Looks very good.
I hope they add stuff like Burn wallpaper and logos and such.
Unless I missed it, I did not see any mention of the WP @ TH tomorrow.
Ask and you receive...
It's there - in the section called LINKS
They put this stuff in FANS>Downloads section.
Maybe I should have said: I hope they put "More Stuff" to download in the future.
And we are still asparagus: Colors - Red, Black and Asparagus
email sent to GE regarding the site - noted that i loved it and suggested more video archives (including the 99 chitcago playoffs) and a webcam. i don't know if they can afford the extra bandwidth and the webcam rig, but it doesn't hurt to try. plus hopefully the positive feedback is encouraging to them, who knows.
I find Asparagus the most intimidating of the green vegetables.
Have you heard how they prepare em? Something about snapping their heads off where it goes floppy!
Jonno - you're scaring the newbies!
Well the Burn website it ain't, but it's quite amusing:
Maybe it is, and I am just blind.
Here is what I see:
