Mrs. Vidic = winning. Definitely has a super-cute girl next door look. Is it safe to say that Nemanja is happy to have stuck around? Captain of United's historic 19th title-winning team, BPL Player of the Season. And you know that image of him lifting that landmark trophy on Sunday is going to be an iconic one that becomes etched into United lore.
I'm not finding anything prior to 01/02 which was won by Ljungberg. Edit: ^^^^ Ignore that ^^^^ I was looking for "Barclaycard Premier League Player of the Year" which did indeed start in 01/02 but I forgot to take into account the previous sponsorsip of both the league and the awards. Now think it started in 94/95. That was the same season Carling started their Carling Player of the Month awards. Shearer won it for the season.

Vidic announces international retirement. Great news for us. It would be great if Rio follows suit...
I really don't think there should be that much read into that. He came off a big injury and I felt that Fergie didn't want to risk him considering the amount of traveling he had done.
Pretty sure it was a joke as was mine, vidic announced the retirement prior to the city game. Glad to have him on the mend as is everyone.
Rio could sure take a look at Vida's move and learn something. Although (and it would be truly stupid), Rio could miss out on England based on Capello's assessment of his form. Rio is still one of England's top CBs I think, but his body is just not there anymore. Retire already!
Hope the injury is not too bad, though didn't look good. If he has torn or ruptured a ligament, given the way Streller landed on it it is hopefully his inner medial ligament and not one of the cruciates. Gonna miss his captaincy as much as his defending
