The Italy rumors are happening to often for me to write them off. I thought it was mainly Juventus though. I'm grasping the fact that he re-signed with us this past summer as a sign that Moyes wants him here and he wants to be here, and he's just not had good injury luck this season. He still can contribute in a big way, if his hamstrings ever cooperate.
Holy God. I read that as us selling him. Now I see that they are loan rumors? Moyes can just go jump off a cliff. Any manager willing to keep Young and Valencia on the wing while loaning out Nani shouldn't even be allowed to play Football Manager. edit: Man alive, it may happen. Sites saying Nani has agreed to the terms, it's just up to the club to decide if they'll accept it as a loan or push for a straight transfer. I don't even know what to say.
Like I said, I hoped that Mata's arrival would mean the departures of Valencia and Young. Instead, it's looking like Nani and Kagawa will leave.
We're going to keep Young and Valencia and ditch Kagawa and Nani. It's almost funny how stupid that is.
I've tried to be supportive of Moyes, but this may be it for me. I can't actually fathom the stupidity of this.
A change of scenery would do Nani a lot of good. He needs to get his arse in gear. I am done defending him. He is an elite wing option who has let his game slide so much he is duking it out with Valencia, Young and Januzaj for game time and losing.
He's meant to have got Luca Bascherini working on his behalf (agent who did Gervinho to Roma deal) so seems he really is thinking of an Italian Job
You are right. It is not one year out of the CL that will cause a Liverpool-esque collapse. it is bringing in the players who help them stay mediocre that will cause it. thanks for clearing that up dawg!
at this point, the discussion is moot: he's a lemon. loan, sale, benched... it's all the same if he keeps missing months because of his hamstrings.
It's amazing how no one in the press ever asks what's going on with Nani -- like he's a leper or something. All these trading rumors every trading window which didn't pan out this time either, and the new contract -- was that another rumor, or confirmed? I have assumed that his hamstrings are ending his career, except you keep seeing rumors of Utd trying to offload him for money. Weird.

They said on sky sports (deadline countdown) a few hours ago...that we'd turned down an offer for Nani from Juventus.
Most sites going with the story that we weren't having any of it regarding transferring Nani. I'd hope so, because any manager who'd send Nani out while keeping Young and Valencia is beyond incompetent. And by the way, what the ******** did he do to that hamstring? This is nuts.
i wonder if his WC place is in jeopardy since he hasn't played much at all lately. anyone know? also any potential title names for a new Nani thread?
We will sell him on the cheap pre-WC. He will dominate in a free-flowing attack during the WC. We will all cry post-WC when Young suits up.
He still will start. no one else half as good. Atleast he'll be well rested and refreshed for the World Cup.
