Nani uses some wierd slop in his hair. During his penalty you can see whatever it is dribbling down the side of his face.. it looked like brown dye, but I'm thinking 'why does a 20yr old have brown dye in his hair' tf?
Pretty good first season in my book. Saw glimpses and flashes of a very good player. Thought he had a couple mood swings, in a sense. Started off pretty well, screamers at Spurs and Boro. Somehow got parked on the bench around winter, but came back with a vengeance and looked good. Went off the plot a little, ending with the West Ham headbutt. But a great finish by taking that humongous PK in the CL Final.
Aye. It's amazing how thin the lines are between success and failure. Nani could have become a club villain before his career had even gotten into a groove for his sending off at Wigan, but now he's a proper hero after taking the most nerve-wracking penno of the lot, which would have knocked us out should he have missed. The lad has a total clean slate now and everything is forgotten. Let's hope he makes best use of that. He has a vast amount of potential and has it in him to be an absolutely top notch player.
i was nervous throughout all the PK's but with his i just felt that little bit of "oh man, for his sake i really hope he makes it". i mean it could have destroyed him mentally going into the summer and next season. but he stood up under the pressure and buried it. looking for great things from him next year... especially with all the tournaments we'll be in.
I expect for Nani to play a much bigger role next season and make a larger goal scoring contribution. 12 goals in all comps would be a good target for him.
Okay, it's official, Nani has the hottest girlfriend in the United squad. Hands down! Copy, paste: http://sic.aeiou.pt/online/scripts/2007/VideoPopup2008.aspx?videoId={799F1E83-119B-43DC-AF51-EE46D67B37AD}
Ah well, still, after watching that its hard not to love him even more, the guys constantly joking, has an infectious personality... and the girliest laugh I've ever heard.
Hater! They love Nani and Manny out in Amadora. I love those fields that he showed, I have one near my apartment in Olaias, Lisbon except its smaller and squeezed in between buildings,and its absolutely insane. Anyways, they are doing a couple of shows like the one above, they have one out on Quaresma as well.
For me, Nani and Anderson, but Nani especially have a lot to live up to next season. In fact, while I can comment on it here. This needs its own thread that should be around sometime soon. Suffice it to say he had a very good first season but as he'll soon learn, at United the manager, the players and the fans always expect more.
