    As I understand it, the law permitted the guy to shoot them (I think MN has a version of the "castle doctrine" but I'm late for lunch), but the jury/judge determined that he went too far with the military-style execution of one of the burglars. Given what I know, that's a perfectly reasonable application of that particular law. I mean, on the one hand, Hannity's correct (they broke into the guy's house), but there are details to the case that should give him pause. But hey, he's Sean Hannity, not some p***y who might think something through.

    it's always seemed to me that hannity thought everything right through, and a long time ago. just like anne coulter, and certainly others whom i don't know about.

    i don't mean the issues, but their stance and comments. these have nothing to do with any real personal convictions - no one (no one sane anyway) can actually believe the rabid, blithering lunacy they pander. their schtick is nothing more than a career choice.

    if they felt they could get as big a rise out of the mass public and as booming a sounding board off the altermedia by espousing trotskyism they would do that. and of course their real competition is each other, the one who goes the farthest over the top gets the highest ratings.
