It was terrible. Figo just basically said that if mancini is the manager he will not come back to Inter. During the CL against Liverpool Figo after being told to warm up, warmed up for a long time until Mancini finally signaled for him to come into the game (final 5-10 mins of the game) and Figo declined.

Because I'm a bitter Chelsea fan who gets sickened at the thought of the Special One being anywhere else but managing Chelsea. :(

who cares. Milan winning that is about as meaningless as sporting winning their preseason cup

The triangular cup with Juventus ,Milan AC, and Inter has no meaning ? I think it does. For one, it sets the tone for the season

We'll revisit the matter at , let's say , half point through the season , to see which one of us is on the money.:)

I don't think it Predicts much, especially since It's only Pre-season and teams arent on song yet. See how it goes when players are fully match fit and have to deal with 1.5ish games a week.

I think Inter winning it from 2002-2005 Defuncts any sort of "Prediction for the season" sort of stuff :p

So you're also in the same school of thought that pre-season games are meaningless ? Sure , it's early on, but I'm wondering now if Jose has the true grit for the Serie A .

Not entirely meaningless but I think that just because a team wins a pre season Tournament doesnt mean they have the strength dedication and form to hold on for an entire season.

I think this season will show what sort of Manager Jose really is, previously the teams he's been coaching have been quite a head above their competitors in the league and such, I think although Inter have a great squad AC, Juve and Roma all have been getting close to their level making it very competitive.

Going far (or winning) the CL with Inter would show that the Porto win wasnt just a fluke.
