I saw the highlight. Agreed. For pk position: The defender pulled Takahara since they both jump to air ball.
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbhD0GOk4xk"]YouTube - ???????? - Highschool Kendo Ippons‏[/ame] Maybe it's a bit more obvious in person but Japan has officials who can accurately judge this and still can't call a damned offside correctly?
What referee was doing in the last minutes of Grampus-Avispa game was simply... unbelieveable... Even by Japanese standards...
I'm refering to those three yellow cards in (not even) three minutes. Sorry, but it looked like it must be 3:0 so it was. http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/佐藤隆治
That's his call dude. The fouls were legit. He gave some yellow cards. You wouldn't but there's no truth out there, everybody has a different opinion and is entitled to it. And it's not like yellow cards had an influence on the scoreboard and more globally on the match.
Not quite how it seemed in the ground. He wa calling all the fouls, but only for one team. Nagoya deserved the win for sure, but some of the calls they were being given seemed fairly unreal. It wasn't just at the end of the game either, the handball in the box was seen by everyone else in the stadium. Most of the players didn't shake hands with the referee at the end, and Nakamachi was held away from him at the final whistle. Someone shouted to Rokutan to start making some saves after the game and he post it a bit and had to be pulled away from the crowd. Not a very happy atmosphere. Although in saying that I was thinking in the game I'm happier to be supporting Avispa than Nagoya. There isn't much fantasy in the Nagoya team.
These ippons are pretty easy to judge (says the Kendo 2-dan who doesn't have to do much judging ever). In Kendo the calls do get a bit questionable though when you get to the international tournaments and get refs from outside of Japan. But its not just Japanese who can't call offside properly, I see these mistakes all the time in leagues around the world. I think the viewing angles needed to make a proper offsides call are much harder than the angle for calling an ippon in kendo (since the refs can move around the court in Kendo).
best dive of the season hands down... Takanori Maeno will remember good thing about it is that Vortis still won
That's amazing. I actually feel sorry for the ref, he must have been on just the right angle that it looked like there was contact. For what it's worth, Wilson's leap over Hyodo's leg a week ago was an epic dive also, London Olympics worthy.
Noone it seems mentioned. S-Pulse-Urawa game's refereeing were poor poor. There were few or more questionable whistle, especialy against S-Pulse. a home team. One of the most amazing one at minute 86. Urawa defender grap/hug SPulse player from behind. It was %100 PK. But refeere said no. It was clear view spot for him and for his assistands. SPulse coach get upset at the line, but nothing change.
So here's Yamaguchis goal And called off Higashi's Both excellent. About the hand we'll never know probably.
But if some referee calls off goals like that... ...then it can't be helped. It looks like Mr Ogiya's team should take a few weeks off from J league pitches and maybe change their views on off-side paragraphs and it's interpretations.
So Saito was totally ripped off in the Nabisco Cup what a shocking display of refereeing going both ways.
More than strange...especially the red card of Jeci...he simply took the ball...may the federation don't suspended him for the next game?
