Is is to late to become a professional footballer (soccer) at age 15? by Ole (Ørholm) Hey, my name is Ole, I am 15 years old and I live in Denmark. When I was younger I played football for about a year, then quit. I regret it badly. Anyway, I have been playing table-tennis for about 3,5 years now. I want to become a pro footballer, and I really think I have the potential. I have some friends, which have played for about 10-12 years, and I believe I could become better than them within a few months, if I started practicing. How do I tell my mom, that I rather want to play football.. She has really high hopes for me I've even bought 3 pairs of cleats, even though I don't play it. Well, I play it. But alone, just practicing, that shoes my passion for it by the way. Would it be worth to quit table-tennis and start practicing football on a higher level. I am going to this high-school in August which contains elite table-tennis, I was discovered and signed up for it before I knew that I would rather play football, it's 1 year. And my mom pays a lot to get me there each month, should I just practice table-tennis and football. They have a normal sized football field, so I can basically practice all I want. And/or should I join a football team while being
