He blew out the ACL in his left knee in December '11. Seems like it was longer ago than that.

 

Very bad news.

 

Guy can't catch a break. I fear for the rest of his career. He's already a shell of his former self and now he's got another rather serious injury to deal with.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy, either.

 

It's very much a stabilising ligament is it not? If so that's probably one of the worse you can get after an ACL

He's already had a torn ACL? Same knee? That sucks for him.

 

Not sure if it's the same knee, but he did it first time round with one of the german youth international teams. Horrible injury for him, especially since he is very reliant on his pace.

 

Sahko should be back correct?

 

Looks like Sevilla is talking to Rakitic about an extension. He was linked to us, and would have been a big help in our midfield as well

Well if he does come back in a month AND we get M'vila we could then do some creative things with the squad. I'd bet that formation BR tried in the first half against Villa would work with 2 DMs and a more competent LB (Enrique)
