Yes that's what he has but think Glenn has the same. Maybe he did his knee as well but early reports were ankle.
We should have signed him just to keep him from hurting our players....though there is practice I guess.
Well, pretty much what we all feared when we saw our little Brazilian hobble off the field in pain: Coutinho's shoulder will require surgery - out until late October At least we get Suarez back soon. Step right up, Luis Alberto.
Southampton, @Sunderland, Palace, @newcastle, West Brom in the league through Oct. Arsenal on Nov 2. You'd like to think we'd still be on from at least 12 from 15 regardless.
it shouldn't be too much of an issue - except you'd much rather have your strongest team out there and also Suarez has shown in the past to be as disruptive to team flow as he is productive - and we've also seen that we tend to choke big time in games we should be winning.
Plus a good reason for making some of the signings we did this summer was to add depth and that implies being able to overcome injuries/absences.
side note - once again the International break - Oct 7-18 - will help us out a bit as that's 2 weeks of recovery. We should have Glen back at that point as well - maybe even before, as well as Cissokho.
Sure but we have to make do. I think we'll be OK. 1. We're high on confidence right now. We believe we can win. Big diff from alot of games last year. 2. Sturridge is on fire right now. 3. Our wing options are hugely improved IMO (Moses, Aspas, and an older and more seasoned Sterling). 4. Our defense is better and with the exception of Glen is healthy.
