Fabio pulled a hamstring according to Mark Hughes, out for a number of weeks.

That boy is made of glass.

Agreed. At one point I saw him as Evra's successor, but his frequent injuries have crippled his development. Now, I can't really see him making it here.

Fabio's still young and the injuries will work themselves out in due time. he'll be a good pro either here or elsewhere. hopefully here.

Nope. Time to write him off, he's 21/22 so this is all he'll ever amount to.

Damn right. He's a worthless asset and needs to be disposed of quickly.

the expectancy of young players is ridiculous nowadays. it's like if they aren't the finished article at 21 or in the top tier they aren't good/good enough. not everyone can have a Messi type impact. although it is harder nowadays to break through as a youth especially at a big club (even worse if they spend obscene amounts of money)

at least if Fábio is done because of injuries then Smalling can't be too far behind

    Wednesday will be interesting.

If one of United's Under-21 CBs impresses they might see first team minutes until Smalling and co. return.

This is ridiculous. Michael Keane, it's time to step. Scott Wootton as well.

Wow. Well, we are fecked. Time for some youngsters to step up. Fletcher's first start back may be tomorrow as a CB. Every year with this shit. Why are all of our backs made of glass?

Smalling due back on 10/7 and Jones on 10/20...

phsyioroom also lists Rafael as having a 'knock' with "no return date". hopefully it is nothing.

Vidic is a liability anyway. I'm more interested in Smalling's recovery.
