SAF confirmed today that Phil Jones is out for a least a month with a back issue and Chris Smalling is out two months for his foot injury.

Evans is not fit but no timetable suggested. he is training though.

Fletcher is back training with the first team.

******** a duck. I don't believe it. Rio will start on Monday. ******** out of here with this shit. It is like we have a ninja assassin who targets all of our defenders at once. I cannot think of a single season since maybe 2002 or 2003 where we've not had like 4 defenders injured at once.

I thought the rumor was that he hurt himself in today's training session.

I don't like Mark Ogden. I would like very much to push him down a short flight of stairs. Not so bad that he would die, but he should suffer.

Conflicting reports... the guardian says he may be out 3-4 weeks.
Various sources say he's out up to 2 months
Some article somewhere said he's a game time decision.

    When does Evans get back?

Need him ASAP with Rio, Smalling and Jones all out for month + possibly.

Evans - once again, conflicting reports - is supposed to be soon. He is training and while this is bullshit, the media's references to his absences seem to imply that it's a game by game miss, not out for a month.

So in other words, I have no ********ing idea.

perfect timing rye? well we hope it will be over by the time it resumes.

just wondering but, could Pogba have played CB if he was still here? don't know if he ever did for reserves but he certainly has the build. most of what i saw of him on MUTV was him picking up the ball from deep and cannoning a shot past a GK. doesn't sound like any of the other reserve CBs are remotely ready for the PL and no CBs to recall from loan either

He couldn't even play central midfielder properly.

Word on twitter is that Evans may play on the weekend, maybe a sub appearance?
