psst.. one of those players could be on course to becoming one of the top WC goalscorers of all time if he continues his strike rate from the past two tournaments. Oh, and the other was Best Young Player in '06. You really think they are not making their way to SA this summer?

I agree, Podolski and Klose constanly play brilliant for the NT, even they are always in a poor form in their clubs. I also dont see that happening.

And for the other players, we cant compare their clib form with the NT games, cuz everyplayer can change form dramatically and play like a monster for Deutshcland. :)

Also i hope that Trohowski, Hitz and Gentner wont make it in SA.

My preferred line up for SA would be

    --------Adler----

    castro--Mertersacker-- Boateng--- Lahm

    -------Schweini----Ballack

    -Marin/Ozil--------------Poldi/Kroos

    ------------Gomez/klose

I would prefer Klose to start those group games to get his 5 goals needed to blast Ronaldos records. The 23 man squad has a lot of bench players who can come in to make the difference. Khedira, Muller, Marin, Jansen even Westermann would be key.

Can Low just drop this Huth idea? It makes me want to puke. A player for Stoke City? who is unproven at any level. Badstuber or Howedes would rather fit in than the man mountain Huth

Bayern_Fan; you want us to play a man down in the tournament?

You've only got 9 field players in your line-up. ;)

    My bad

    ----------------Adler---------

    --Castro--Mertersacker---Boateng---Lahm

    ------Schweini----------Ballack

    -Marin------Kroos/Ozil----------Ozil/Poldi

    ------------Klose/Gomez

Marin seemed to be the best shot for RW while Ozil/Kroos for CM and Ozil/Poldi for LW

Klose to start over Gomez as Kloses return n NT is more inspiring and of course the Ronaldo record needs to be beaten. Also make Klose the teams penalty taker. (just to beat the record)

haha don't think i've ever seen him take a penalty, not a bad idea otherwise...

    Oezil must play.

Hope Kroos does well enough to start as well.

My thots are that Kroos might not start the first game but as the tournament progresses The team would revolve more around his creativity with Ozil and Marin. Kroos and Ozil with Muller coming in as a sub

Expect a very conservative starting line up in the first few games with many old players.

Group stage penalties wont be too difficult to take for Klose.
