A neat idea. However, Christmas/Christmas Eve is for family for me. No sports for me on those days ( or Thanksgiving and Easter).
Yes i fully understand you on that. But it shows you once again that a club is much more than a product to people .
It might also be significant that over here we tend to take a week or two off over Christmas, while in the USA they only get Christmas Day off, and that's it.
Yes that is very true. I have had 1,5 paid week off now Still i find many football clubs to be a big and important part of the community in different ways regardless off the time off work . And it is a part off the big picture and the way we do things over here .
Good day http://www.london24.com/sport/loyal...r_clubs_to_reveal_spending_like_mls_1_3289060 he Football League have agreed to lobby the Government for safe standing areas, reports The Daily Telegraph. It makes happy reading for supporters and comes hot on the heels of their recent safe standing consultation http://www.fsf.org.uk/latest-news/view/football-league-clubs-say-yes-to-safe-standing
One very good thing about modern football - the ability to buy tickets online. ...or at least it should be. Italy, for one, appears to be shambolic on that point. Not only are clubs unable to do their own ticket sales, it doesn't seem to have occurred to them that selling tickets more than five days in advance might help sales.
