It looks as though Snodgrass is going to Norwich which may help RR see the field. If it makes someone post a picture of the Rogers sisters I'd be happier.

Wow, and from the manager commenting on how unlucky Pugh is to be up for sale, but nothing on tRR, you got to think that he doesn't think much of tRR. Looks like a lot of the players brought in last year by the old manager are being let go.

I really do think tRR needed a change of scenery and still had/has a chance to get his career going. But, I think it needs to be the right place with the right coach. Not sure why he picked Leeds, but I got the feeling he was just going because it was his only viable option.

Can anyone honestly say they are surprised by this given his form when he left here, and the change in management there?

I think you answered your own question.

My money is on Seattle. Sigi would be licking his chops to get his hands on Robbie.

I think we still own his rights, that's why we protected him in the expansion draft, right?

Yeah we gave him an offer so like Clark and Houston he's still ours. Anyone that wants him in MLS still has to trade with us.

I know, I just meant that Sigi would probably be happy to trade for him. Give us Brad Evans and it's all even stevens ;)

Weird to think that we've "moved past" Robbie. But we have.

I can see him back in MLS somewhere though.

Didn't Robbie say something after he was signed at Leeds that his decision was between Leeds and Portland?

Lenhart with another last second winner, this time against Seattle.

Damn. If he'd have done stuff like that more often when he was here, we wouldn't have traded his ass.

yes we would have. He wasn't doing it here because (take your pick):
a.) He wasn't being used properly
b.) He was disenfranchised and wasn't working hard in practice
c.) He didn't play enough defense

Maybe my sarcasm meter is missing something but that's crap.

We can all argue until the end of time that he wasn't being used properly, or wasn't getting service or whatever. But the bottom line is that he had a ton of chances in his last couple seasons here that he missed and missed badly. He was traded because he was a finisher that couldn't finish.

Maybe I'm not getting your point. Are you blaming Warzycha for the fact that Lenhart couldn't hit the side of a barn with a bazooka?

Lenhart's definitely finishing better in San Jose, but there's no doubt he benefits from playing alongside Wondolowski. Both of those guys seem perfectly suited for the other. Wondo gets the flick-ons and hold up from Lenhart, while Lenhart benefits from Wondo drawing multiple defenders; which opens up more space for him to run into.

They've actually played well. Two 0-1 defeats, including last week against Colon (the club that Higuain just left to come here) who looked really good and are top of the table right now. Still, the difference in that match was a mistake by Lanus' 'keeper. Friday against Newell's Old Boys, Lanus was the better side for almost the whole of the match, but you can tell that they're thin. NOB scored about 10 minutes in, then Lanus controlled the rest of the first half, and had a man sent off in the second. Still, even playing 10 v 11, it's about goals. People are going to start to lose their shit if they don't score next week at Velez, which will not be an easy place to get a result. It's going to be interesting to see how much time he gets. It's a different world. Clubs are notorious about bowing to media tantrums to make quick changes. All in all, from an American perspective, it's still way too early. From an Argentine perspective, it's almost time to freak the ******** out.

Or the barn side of a broad. But the reason for the trade was not because the Crew did not want him, as far as I know. They did protect him in the expansion draft. It may have had something to do with family as this was around the time his dad passed. Or he did not like losing his brother in law in the draft. Hard to say. But I thought *he* asked for the trade.
