    What are they thinking? Cunningham should have retired on a high note (MLS goal leader of all time). His performance last season was really sad.

    Interesting indeed. Guatemala has exported several players to MLS but I never saw it happen the other way around.

    Not much details yet. The article says Jeff will fly to Guatemala City tomorrow to sign his contract so we'll know until thats happens.

    MLS stopped giving allocation money for replacements when "stars" retired about 5 years ago. I asked Garber about once when he was in Columbus. He confirmed that there was no allocation money for Kreis, Jones, Twellman, etc when they retired.

    His club has not paid him and they (the club)were raided for failing to pay taxes, it's in the SI article.
