Holy crap. As someone who is in that industry - hilarious and sad to see all at once.

One should never, ever buy a beer inside the stadium. Get the buzz well set before going in

when you are partying with the Colombians after the USA has already qualified - might as well drink inside AND outside. Such a great game in 2009 (I think it was colombia - last game of the qualifiers - in the rain).

Thankfully, I made it in well before kick-off, so I had time to buy an overpriced Mexican beer.

Oxford Gold is a decent ale, but if you are looking for an alternative to Guinness then try Freedom stout as it leaves little after effects.

In my Cal days a mate and I did our famous Pub and Castle tour. Castles in the day and beer at night....starting whenever pubs opened. We found this beer we liked, Wadsworth 9x strong and tasty too.

We found the old brewery, looked like something from a Dicken's novel movie and I talked our way into a visit that meant joining a nighttime Inland Revenue (IRS) tour. It ended of course in the export bar were those guys soon lost their ties and jackets.

Coming back to LA the customs guy says "what's that?" I said 'Just a six pack of English beer' He replies "REALLY! get your arses outta here." So we took our 6 gallon cans and left....

Hey, I don't own any corduroys. :) (And I have yet to drop $100 on a beer, but I'm working on it.)

It's called formula One. with Micro brew
As opposed to redneck left turn roundy roundy routeen, sponsored by Bud Lite
In football it would be Liverpool supporters over Chelsea
In bat and ball games it'd be Cricket over baseball

If you mean like projectile vomiting, then yeh...! :)

Just thinking. I'm prolly one of the very few here on our board that's ever played Hurley, let alone knows what it is. Mind you I was 11 years old then.

Well I am quite a chuffed chap; yesterday I got notice that I can have my season tickets, finally! Main Stand, row 18. Happy is an understatement, no more trading on RAWK! I can actually use my own!

I'll only be there about twice a month, and it normally means I can catch one home and one away so the rest of the time I'll let family or friends use them. So if you guys are ever wanting to use them I have 6....

I must confess, I bought four of those on the executive package to go next to the other two I got after waiting for a loooong time. But it does include parking and a meal for four of the six! Plus the bar and tea at half time, of course it would help if I were a drinker. Someone is going to have to go and hammer the bar for me at least once a year....
