now that BDC is in charge of SCP, we see how quickly Porto falls and reverts to its regional club status

we also see how mediocre braga is this season

the balance of power in Portuguese football is tipping back to Lisboa

Funny how all it took was for SCP to get a president with balls and say enough is enough.

Of Course Benfiquistas must have to thank SCP:

SCP is the one who effectively ended Porto's era.

The season isn't even over yet a little early to talk like that. Porto will always be a Grande even as shit they have been this season they are still in the EL and hold an advantage over Napoli.

Braga have been having a rough patch but that happened to SCP last season did it not? I expect them to bounce back they signed dome good players this season like Rusescu but they lost alot of great players this season like Salino, Massoro, Viana, Silvio and etc but Salvador their President is a very good President and I expect them to have a complete overhaul this season aswell as probaly appointing Marco Silva as their next coach.

Judging by titles won, yes Porto will always be a "grande"...

but SCP is the Grande of all Grandes...

only SCP can go through so many mediocire seasons, and suffer so many tribulations and still retain loyal fans and support... this club transcends Portuguese football... our shirt is the soul of a nation's football...SCP is embedded in the fabric of daily life...

SCP is a giant... and is reborn...

FCP only has been successful these past years largely due to parasites holding SCP back...

all it takes is a strong leader in SCP... and FCP vanishes back to regional club status.

FCP is numbers "X campenatos won, X tacas, X european titles etc"

this is the be all and end all,

SCP is more than a club, its a way of life... the days are coming where SCP will be winning again..

not doubting what you have said but the season is still not over alot can happen until the season ends both Porto and Sporting are still in the Liga title race buttalking like that and if SCP finish 3rd everyone here is gonna make you eat your words but I understand that you dont care because you will support SCP no matter but you and I both know that if Porto had been the Porto of last season and if Braga played at their best and both Madeira teams play like they ussually do then this season could be completly different and not related to this topic but do you know if Boavista will be back in the Liga

I may eat my words, but if I do so be it... FCP is still a good team with good players.. but the point is...their era of dominance is ending... and it is all because of the SCP giant being awoken

SCP has been largely dormant since Joao Rocha left the presidency, it is no coincidence this is around the time PDC took over at Porto...

now the tables are turning with BDC arriving at SCP.. a new era is beginning.

anyways, I suspect Boavista will be back within the next few years especially because FCP's influence is waning now that SCP has awoken.

Boavista was sent down mostly because PDC doesnt want another major club in his own city.

FCP's fall from grace has nothing to do with Benfica. Benfica perpetuates the system, SCP stood up and decided to end FCP's cycle.

SLB looks set to win the league this season but soon SCP will be a legit contender and SLB will suffer greatly in the coming years.

    what does it matter?

who knew abotu William before this season?

SCP is the football factory of Portugal....

you are talking about a club that was targetted by PDC and Porto for 30 years...

well guess what...BDC is here now.

SCP is a way of life? Yikes. I guess Muslim women wearing hijabs and not allowed to show their face is also a way of life. Although most SCP fans took off their paper bags this year.

Nobody even knows or cares about the proper name of your municipal club. You guys need to change the name to cater to everyone, Sporting Lisbon. :D

You guys have some fat municipal hack that loves to talk smack and you think you are the $hit. You guys will be back fighting for top half of the table next season. BDC will be tossing PDC's salad with a smile after some feijoada dinner in a few months. Heck, even LFV will get his balls gargled by BDC.

BDC has no dignity and will be exposed for the idiot that he is.

You forgot last year so fast. How many trophies did Sporting Lisbon win this year? How many last year?

Look at the turn around BDC has made in just 1 year...

SCP is awakening and will win trophies and titles soon
but you are forgetting one thing

SCP is the only club in Portugal, that does not need to win

unlike small clubs who need to win to get credit and prestige, or FCP or SLB who must win to please their bandwagon fans and their school yard D*ck measuring contests (as its the only way those clubs can legitimize their own existence)

SCP DOES NOT NEED TO WIN

winning is nice, but we do not need to win to legitimize our existence. SCP is more than a club it is a way of life. a way of being. it is a mindset.

hard work, dedication, devotion, and glory

a club of Gentleman, gracious in victory or defeat

SCP is the club of class, elite, the upper strata of society.

SCP despite suffering so many tribulations, still mobilizes masses like few institutions can...
this is a testament to our resolve... our resilience, and how Grande SCP is...

Afterall this is a club that regularly plays with 7/8 players from its world class academy, supports an entire nation's talent pool,
this is a club that had a MOVIE made about it...

club of Carlos Lopes, Cristiano Ronaldo, Figo, and Joaoquim Agostinho...

its true that SCP and FCP are at open war right now,

SCP has always been the enemy of FCP... SLB is just FCP in Red shirts.

What will you do/say if Sporting doesn't win the league next year?
