According to Abola, Messi wants out at the end of this year. Wow, if this is true, did not see this coming. Have a hard time believing it.

It's coming from the Punto Pelota program, I wouldn't give it much credence.

Never. He would easily ruin his legacy. Without Barca around him he would look like....Messi for Argentina. No where near as impressive.

Not the worst thing. If there's something we've learned over the years is that CR feeds on haters.

If I'm honest, a little bit of me hopes he gets insulted by some major soccer figure (Pele? Maradona?) in the lead up to World Cup, to stoke the fire even a little more... :)

I would love for Neymar to say he will score more goals then Ronaldo and for the Germans to say they plan on invading Portugal.

looks like Ronaldo will either miss the Gala game or come off the bench.

If Ronaldo wins the Ballon Dor, I think his performances against Sweden will be a big reason why.

that literally grabbed the attention of the whole world.

euro 2012 we saw signs of him beginning to take over games for Portugal, 2014 I think a healthy Ronaldo with a solid team performance will make us a team nobody wants to face.

I said it before it took Ronaldo it took over 1 hundred games for Manchester before he started pouring goals in.

If he can get a goal in the first group stage game, I think the flood gates will open.

I watched a complilation of all ronaldo 47 goals on youtube

seems he started scoring alot more the last coupple years...10 this year...wow hes at his peak

    I agree with you gooddead..

anyways I think its becoming likely he will win the Ballon Dor for the second time this year. I have read about alot of people coming forward sayin they have voted for him, or that he deserves it.

Will be the first Portuguese to win more than 1 ballon dor if it happens, although obviously he has been always in the running since 2007... definitely deserves to have won 2 or 3 by now IMO. I will be very happy for him if he wins it again.

Not good enough for the Ballon d'Or unfortunately. Messi is the more injured of the two thus making him a better candidate

lol Scolari said he voted for Ronaldo. He added that whenever he speaks to Messi, Messi asks him why he never votes for him for the ballon dor

so much for mr humble good guy messi... seems he cares an awful lot about these awards even if people and media make it seem like only Ronaldo does.
