That's excellent, Joe. Concise but seriously informative. Thanks!

Excuse me guys- but I have a question for NCSoccerDad. I just moved to Wilmington, NC. I have a U-12 boy and a U-10 girl and I am trying to find info on the better cities for Club Soccer in North Carolina. Any help you could throw my way would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    My former home!

CASL in the Triangle area (two hours away at least) is a massive club. Greensboro and Charlotte have good clubs, too, but they're way too far away.

But Cape Fear Soccer Club does just fine as well. They're actually a new affiliate of the Philadelphia Union. Unless you're seeking ECNL or Developmental Academy, I'm not sure I'd spend that much time on I-40. I made that drive probably 50-75 times between Wilmington and Duke -- I wouldn't recommend it for weekly or twice-weekly soccer practice.
