[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji6r7J6L2bk"]YouTube - Bundesliga Fashion[/ame] not exactly football but definitely classic. this completely ruins netzer's image as some sort of an intellectual. there is no hint of irony when he says that its a service fur die zuschauer.

And looks classy as ever. Because it's just the truth. It helps the occasional spectator to tell the good looking, cool and classy Gladbach team from the funny fools in the costumes at first sight. Nice service, Netzer is intellectually right.

Günter Netzer in 1974 shortly before the World Cup showing how it's done at the ZDF Torwand. His score of 5 is still a record up until now.

Thank you, Gregoriak! This game is deeply engraved in my childhood memories; Hans-Jörg Criens was my hero in primary school. And Lothar Matthäus the villain, of course.
Not sure, but I think that Franz Beckenbauer & Rudi Völler (maybe even a few more guys) scored 5 goals as well in the past.
Damn, that was a hell of a game! Did Uwe Rahn really play in midfield at that time? Great names in both squads. Some of them even played for both clubs during their careers. Btw: Maybe I should ask Benno Möhlmann (manager of my local club Fürth) whether he remembers that match...

That was a hell of a game from Lautern! Kudos! Btw: Do you also have a clip with BMG's 5:1 over Real Madrid (UEFA-Cup 1985, I think)?
Yes I have the game but the quality is very bad. Uploading makes no sense because the quality on YouTube it will get even worse due to the compression of video files. Similar story with Gladbach's 4-1 away win at AS St. Etienne in 1979-80 UEFA Cup. In my opinion, one of the best away performances ever by a German club in Europe. St. Etienne was still a very strong side at that time and they had not lost a game at home in European competitions in 10 years or so ... until Gladbach came.
There's a youtube clip with all 5 goals and Heribert Fassbender's original comment available at least (fastforward to 2:28'): [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOJTXMNUmco&feature=related]http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOJTXMNUmco&feature=related[/ame]
