Minamino and Sugimoto is more good-looking imo. I am surprised nobody felt that Yamaguchi look like a yakuza with that hairstyle.
Did they really have to go out of the way to point out that Forlan didn't even make the rankings? Kinda harsh
Popovic: "The team contains very young players. Supporters' expectations are really high but I want them to think realistically." Popovic: "Kim lacked concentration today" Er...
Kim has not been performing since like 3-4 games ago, the ball always slips from his hand after he catch it. And what are the reasons you guys think that Ogihara is not playing as frequently as last season?
Which aspects do you feel he is beneath Hasegawa in? You think Ogihara can play with Yamaguchi and Hasegawa together like last season with Yamaguchi and Simplicio?
yes Gordon but we are not Popovic. I could answer you "there is nothing that Ogihara does worse than Aria" or "Aria does X better than him", but what would it mean? It's just a random opinion, how would it help you understand the reality of the situation? We have already answered you, the key reason here is that Aria has played under Popovic for years.
While the existing relationship between Popovic and Aria plays a role, I'm sure you could point to other factors. Aria offers more versatility with his ability to play every midfield position, and so far this season has added attacking flair to the CM position. Evidently Zac was impressed by his performances. I'm not sure if there's anything wrong with Taka at the moment, but he's a bit more static imo and can be inconsistent.
So other than passing range, Aria does everything better than Ogihara in your opinion? You think him, Hasegawa and Yamaguchi can play well together at the same time?
Maybe, however I'm not very support for subbing out a keeper in the middle of a game. It's the best way to break his self-confidence IMO. Moreover, Popovic doesn't hesitate to criticize Kim openly... This guy blames his players since two games but I hope he doesn't forget to put himself in question too, I think it could do him good.
Well, probably defending as well. But if that was the top priority at CM, Popovic might as well eventually push Kacar back to his natural position and bench both Aria and Taka...
You think Ogihara defend better than Aria? He fluster his passess when put under pressure imo. Anyway, what are the weaknesses of playing Hasegawa, Taka and Yamaguchi at the same time when Taka, Simplicio and Yamaguchi played together at the same time last season?
