i love The Simpsons! sure, the show has been hit or miss since around 2004 but it is still better than some of the other crap that's on the air. the first 8 seasons had some of the best and most memorable episodes. i've always loved Homer [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jspw0597t7Y"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jspw0597t7Y[/ame] this is one is off quite possibly the funniest episode. my favorite at least: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icIwKaci3MI"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icIwKaci3MI[/ame]

Agreed, the new shoes like Family Guy, American Dad, etc, don't even come half way close to the 1st-8th seasons of the Simpsons. The new stuff is questionable, and the writing has definitely changed, but thankfully, I can still enjoy the classic episodes over and over again after having bought the seasons.
