I know you guys said the 7 Train was not running this weekend,
But it's only between 61st and Main St.
So if you can get to the 7 Before 61st, you should be able to 40th street (which I assume is where the bar is at) with ease.

Hey all,we are going to have a viewing party for this game.The location will be the Breffini Inn at 4345 40th St Sunnyside, NY 11104. Its right off the corner of Queens Blvd.The 7 train stops right on 40th st.Its only a few stops from Grand Central Station.The game starts at 7pm.
