I think combs > than 4 goals should be rewarded extra somehow in the standings

 

Perhaps at 0.25 Combs for every 1 clear goal?

In this case, an 8-0 win can be considered as 2 combs from the same game... ;-)

 

I want the Galaxy to dominate these standings now. I want them to destroy every remaining team they face on the schedule. Including themselves.

Yes, I am accepting of LA's uncanny ability to ruin itself for marriage. Yes, I am accepting of teh fail and teh lolz. I am accepting of euphoria and despondency. I want the yin and the yang, the bing and the bang, the heaven and the hell. I want....za warudo.

So! I am activating the Sadist Mode switch and licking my dry, unchapped lips over LA opening up the can of Blowout Comb whoop-ass on other teams...and themselves. This thread on BigSoccer...turns me on.

 

Just dig-up some stats on the List of Past Champions that have been combed at least once during their respective regular seasons:

 

Interesting bit of symmetry too: in 2012, LA got combed by Seattle and combed their next opponent. In 2013, LA combed Seattle and got combed by their next opponent.

 

Another interesting bit of symmetry too:
