I found a website. Distribution: VT, MA, PA, ME, NJ, and AZ. Apparently they are opening a new brewery soon. Good luck to them.
I'll be waiting in line a couple of hours on Saturday to get a glass or (hopefully) two of Pliny the Younger.
killed off a Youngs Double Chocolate Stout last night. First one I've had in at least 2 years. Forgot how much I liked it.
Absolutely delicious. And a great choice when dealing with those misguided souls who claim they "don't like dark beer."
Picked up some Nugget Nectar and Aprihop. Both delicious! Also tried the Beckenridge Bock and Flying Dog Garde Dog.
I live around the corner from the brewery and still haven't made it over there. Anyone know if they do tours?
They had some beer tasting at a local liquor store last week, and I tried this: http://konabrewingco.com/beers/koko-brown/ Kind of reminded me of a lighter Newcastle and instead of the nut brown finishing taste, it was coconutty.
Gonna swing by this place on the way to RFK on Saturday to score a few growlers for the tailgate party in lot 8 http://www.chocolatecitybeer.com/
which store did the tasting? I've seen tastings advertised at Franklin Liquors and Frederick Wine House, but I never been able to make it to either place for one.
The one next to 7-Eleven on East Street... not sure the name, just happened to walk in for lottery tickets.
Going to be in Wake Forest, NC some or all of next week, and will probably need to drown sorrows. Any good micro-brews or pubs down there? Or will I have to buy beer at the Food Lion?
lol. they have that on tap here in Mid TN at a place called "3 brothers". they can't wait for it to be gone cos no one likes it.
