I wasn't paying close attention to her when she was first in the room. Her character was completely different when she returned. I actually rewound to see if she was a different vet.
i know they have to advance the sheldon-amy relationship to please the fans of that sort of stuff, but i don't like it... especially the way they did it. it just felt so dishonest to his character that they've built so far. i'm not gonna lose any sleep over it because i knew it had to happen (because they're not going to get rid of the amy character), but i can still lament over it. the damn laughtrack/"oooo-ing" does my head in as well. it's 2014, for pete's sake.
Leonard is really aiming low (degree-wise) with his conquest. Howard married a Doctor in microbiology Sheldon is dating a Doctor in neurobiology Raj has his eyes on a Doctor of veterinary medicine
I thought how they did it was great, perfect in Sheldon character terms. - He didn't understand her issue - He got what he wanted - she whined, so he in temper tantrum fashion, tried to point out how stupid she was - it back-fired, cause he liked it - human nature trumps genius Of course the second kiss will be in years, but still, they moved them forward. Forced was the dungeons and dragons scene from last year.
Leonard is swimming in the shallow end of the pool Oh, and I liked Sheldon's line about how wine is like grape juice that burns.
I am disappointed with you guys as I am with the show writers. Of all of the things to complain about how is it that no one pointed out that on the Valentine installment where Penny & Leonard have a quick coitus exchange, she comes out fully clothed even though they have the apartment all to themselves? Otherwise, it was a funny episode.
Something about the last episode felt like a different show at times. I'm not sure how to describe it.
last nights episode was quite bland....the highlight was Amy and Sheldon at dinner and Amy pretending to take interest in Sheldons console dilemma... what is going on with Penny's hair...awful...
That whole bit at dinner was great. Liked the comment about dating more than one person at the same time.
I think ive came full circle on this show. I hated and despised it for the longest time, then my gf started me on it because it was one of her favorites and i slowly came to like it a lot now i think i hate and despise it again. I just find myself rolling my eyes more and more and i cant help but despise the characters, like we get it Penny... we get it Raj... we get it Amy ... and Sheldon, just fuck off. Does one simply unwatch his own thread?
Actually I think Raj is the only one that has really changed....he's gone from being socially awkward around women, to being able to talk and not be as uncomfortable around them... had to clear up space on the DVR and finally got around to watching the last 2 episodes last nights...decent....I guess...Penny and Leonard getting married and Sheldon's world is falling apart...Where in the World is Sheldon Cooper?
