i'm sure if we would have sent our Copa Oro team to Copa America things would have gone differently. we would have at least made the semis no doubt. i still think 1999 was the best year for the NT though.

this year though, our youth squads came out swinging big time. Sub-17 Champs, 3rd place Sub-20, and our mostly Sub-22 with the Gold at the PanAm games

    Fixed. ;)

    Also, you can say:

    Ulises Dávila - Chelsea
    Edson Rivera - S.C. Braga
Marco Bueno - Liverpool (signed a pre-contract iirc)

Chicharito - Signed for another 5 years with United

And there were rumors of big teams like Barcelona interested in Carlos Fierro and Julio Gomez throughout the summer too! Atletico Madrid wants Richard Sanchez (U-17 goalie) back for another look as well..

Great year! I hope we can build on to this and cement our status as one of the best teams in the world in the near future..

And the Fifa world club cup competition does that count also if we advance to the final.

As a rayado fan i must admit that we are not playing up to par with the squad we have. I am sure you all notice but i think that there are internal issues happening. Di Nigris is not that injured to miss most of the season. he feels betrayed that rayados did not let him go in the summer. del gado seems like he is not meshing with the midfield players for feeds and suazo. i hate to say this but i think his days have passed. this winter transfer window will either have a positive or an extremely horrendous outcome for my pandilla.

I think Mexico made it to the homeless World cup final (losing to Scotland) and we made it to the quarter finals of the beach world cup losing to Russia.
