Any updates or progress reports? I haven't even heard his name mentioned anywhere...nor is he on the bench today (or for quite a while)?
I think he's injuried. He was playing for the reserves a while back and when off around the 70 minute mark with a knee problem. I haven't heard anything on him since. If he's fit, he'll probably be on the bench against Southampton.
Thanks! He seemed to drop off the radar, but I always assumed he was a 2 or 3 year project. I was just curious if he was a bust or still "learning".

He was atrocious in the Cup game he played. But...he's gone from 2nd division Portugal playing in front of 100 people (including teams and staf ) to 50+K in that game. By now, if Ferguson thought he was garbage, he wouldn't be suiting up for the reserves. Unless he's trying to shop him out.
He hasn't really impressed when he's played in the first team as of yet, (though he's got two goals - one in the Carling Cup game against Wolves and one against Champions League group stage opposition Busapor) but he's been doing relatively well for the reserves. He scored in the 3-3 draw against Wolves at the start of the month. Both teams were down to ten men and United were 3-1 down with about 15-20 minutes to play.
