    You dopey pom.

Aust are World Champs at 50 overs cricket, not this gimmicky 20 overs a side rabble. No one cares for this game.

Me thinks you are still dirty about being flogged 5-0 in the Ashes last year. :)

Guess AUS just got spanked again.

That's 14 wins (no draws) in a row for the Aussies, at test level. :p

Kumar Sangakkara was unjustly robbed by idiot Saffie umpire Rudy Koertzen in the 2nd test. He was playing a knock of a lifetime on 192 and was given out for a catch, which was nowhere close to being a catch. This was a very shameful incident while a team was actually giving very good fight back to Australia. Credit to Kumar and Sri Lanka for their spirit. Of course there is no guarantee Sri Lanka would've managed a draw let alone win the match if that decision wasn't given. But Australia shouldn't get smug about winning matches in this manner.

Totally agree, but how many times has an awful decision like this gone against the other team?

Absolutely, and credit where credit is due. India played well in both finals, and deserved to win.

The losses wont do Australia any harm. The team is definitely going through a transition period, with the retirements of Gilchrist and Hogg. Add to that Hayden, who will probably retire at the end of next summer. We need to bring some new players into the team. I'm sure we'll be back to where we belong in time for the next world cup though!

I know I am bumping up an old thread but don't forget I was banned at the time of these finals were on.

Awesome stuff by India. Shithouse stuff by the aussies. I would have thought they had of done something about this at the camp that they had up in Brisbane.

Rohit Sharma is going to be a star. His brother Ishant is going great guns as well.
