Kickoff is at 7:45 PM GMT, 2:45 PM EDT, 8:45 AM HST at Ashburton Grove.

Television coverage in the States provided by NBCSN.

Well, that was a fun little distraction in the FA Cup. Now we turn our attention back to the league and our annual quest for the Arsène Wenger Memorial 4th Place Trophy. Plenty of points to play for against teams we have to beat, starting now. 15 available, let's get them all.

    Up the Arsenal.

There's going to be some tired players for this one, wouldn't be surprised if AOC wasn't even on the bench.

Crikey - didn't realize this was on Tuesday.

    Sneezy
    Jenks - Mertesacker - Vermaelen - Gibbs
    Arteta - Rosicky - Kallstrom?
    Cazorla - Giroud - Podolski

Pretty much the only team that can play, right?

Love mid-week games since I work from home. Nice 2 hour, paid distraction. ;)

AW must be at his wit's end-he can't slot his beloved goal leaker Monreal to LB. He will be forced to start Gibbs.

Was there reports of Ox injuring himself ? I thought it was just cramps

Now would be a good time to start Gnabry. Actually I'd have preferred Serge over Both Poldi and definitely over the slow, unathletic midget AW loves so much but now announced he wants to leave to win trophies because, you know, even Midgets have ambition.

Yes, eternally grateful we are playing Fat Sam. Will he start his Andy Carroll? I suspect we will start ours.

Indeed! Wenger should do some serious rotation, as risky as that is perhaps for the result. But he might just take his other favored risky tactic: run-the-best-players-into-the-ground. Hard to imagine Ramsey or Ox playing... maybe on the bench for a late sub? But hopefully not.

Wenger hasn't done this, but if it were me, I'd have been playing the freshest remotely plausible team since about January or so. It seems like we've got the best results when we've done that.

This one is especially thin. I'd go

    Szcz
    Sagna - Larry K - Verm - Gibbs
    Rosicky - Kjallstrom
    Gnabry - Cazorla - Podolski
    Giroud

Gnabry especially needs to play IMO. He's our best pace option and has done well when he's played.

We need nothing less than all 3 points from this one!!! UP THE ARSENAL!!! Make our anniversary a happy one!!!

A lot of pressure on you Tonerl. I hope you have the mental strength to carry us through the end of the year. If you do, I think we'll get 4th and a trophy. If not, #TonerlOut

According to Arseblog, Tomas Rosicky, Mesut Ozil, Laurent Koscielny, Nicklas Bendtner and Abou Diaby all joined first team training today as Arsenal prepare for tomorrow night’s game with West Ham United at the Emirates.
I can assume that Kos, Tomas and Bendtner may see the field tomorrow.

Diaby is back in training? Must be nearing end of the season and time for Wenger to put away the checkbook because you know the most talented Arsenal non player will be ready to go next season. Where have I read this script before?

    Chesney

    Sagna Mert Verm Gibbo

    Arteta Rosicky Kallstrom

    Ozil Giroud Poldi

I suspect a draw is what we are looking at you know just to make the run up to fourth place trophy a bit more exciting. A win would be really nice.

Does Joe Cole still play football?

Can't see Ozil starting this one. This might be a good game to go 4-4-2 as well:

    Sneezy
Sagna - Mert- Verm - Gibbs
    Arteta - Kallstrom
    Rosick - Podolski
    Giroud - Sanogo

You're kidding yourself if you think Arsenal are ever going to play a 4-4-2 before Wenger leaves.

It's mind-boggling to believe Diaby has another year of 50k per week. Maybe he'll miraculously get it together in the next couple weeks and lead us to 4th.

    The 07/08 season.

The switch to the 4-3-3 didn't happen until after 08/09.

I wasn't saying that Wenger has never used a 4-4-2, just that he's incredibly unlikely to revert to it. When was the last time we started in that formation?

EDIT: Given our current personnel, it seems even less likely.
