and that's why we should try podolski right up front.

Great strike from Podolski. Hope we can build on it.

Sometimes I forget how good Podolski really is. Class, all the way around.

Why is our set piece marking sofreaking bad? I understand if you just get out jumped or out muscled, but to not even MARK is beyond me.

u know why we suck? too much space between attack and midfield and defence and midfield.....DEEPER midfielder needed and less advanced players up top, if we want to play tika taka then u need better spacing and more triangles rather than just pinging 20 yard passes into the area for constant interceptions

4-4-2 would help immensely. Each strata is just too flat across.

Great one touch passing around the box...Poldi's effort is cleared off the line. More of that please

Much, much better movement today. Come on #2.

Also, Ramsey really does make a lot of chances.

Doing well - if O'Brien wasn't playing out of his mind right now we could be 4 up

Glad to see Ramsey having a good one

Ramsey has been good today. Also, lately I've been seeing with his little sub appearances he's been pretty good. Would be wise IMO to start switching between him and Arteta.

We were putting too much on him last season and this season it has been good. Deputize the best player on the team, come on when needed, build confidence. The kid has real quality. I don't want to see him go to waste.

Umm, can someone tell me what happened in the first half? I had to run to a hearing for the first half.

Ramsey having a stormer so far. He wont be exposed by Fat Sam's long ball game over our midfield but he is still doing great work around on the cover and in posession. That deep lying role suits him as he has more space on the ball to plan our approach play. His direct 20yrd forward passes are something which we have been lacking at times. Arteta has become too comfortable popping them short to Jack or Santi all of the time

We played bad, then played very, very well. ;)

No one marked Collison and the ball dropped to him outside the box and he hit a long one in. Pods countered with a long one of his own a few minutes later. We had lots of chances and if we continue to play this way in the 2nd half, we should win handily.

I do worry about him getting caught on possession but he is a smart lad. I really, really, want him to do well.

Not a bad first half. Not a bad first half at all. Agreed that Podolski needs to play up front.

OK - I'm sat behind a computer moderating detention for the next 45 minutes. As always, be extra descriptive for me!

Not with my school's dodgy wireless. The gamecast is too slow.
