As if 10 minutes of good football is enough to say they would have. I don't understand that logic. Tottenham has played good football in spells numerous times before and still end up losing to us. I don't pity them when it was something as stupid as that Ade challenge. With 11 we still more than likely would have won. It would have been much more competitive but I still fancy us winning.
From Arsene's post-match email: You gotta love the concrete, tangibility of his analyses... "we have to find stability in our expression". WTF?
There is a small part of me that is saddened by Adebayor. He's got all the tools to be one of the best players in the world and instead he's an insufferable hothead who is capable only of flashes of brilliance. He reminds me a little of Berbatov in that it's their mentality that prevented them from being world class.
During his first season with Arsenal, Adebayor was ask if he was frustrated by his lack of starts. His paraphrased anwser was that he grew up barefoot and hungry, and that he'd never complain about something like playing time. Where did that dude go? (anyone else remember that? or am I misremembering something?)
it didn't take the best players in the world at least 9 years as pros to understand how offside works.
Though I don't want to praise him, to his credit he did start reasonably well, and scored on his debut. I think with Henry around, he was always going to be second fiddle. no surprise really that when Henry left, he came into his own.
Why can't he just talk like a normal human being and say that players have to run without the ball to create options? The games where we look terrible are the ones where no one freaking runs.
lol.. I saw Stevie Mac and Ian Darke on ESPN call Sol Campbell an Arsenal legend. lol... Even though he was a beast of defender for "them", he still is more attached to us lol...
Ade is a tragedy really. You could see that he still wanted to be loved by his former teammates. But a kunt is a kunt.
