Visiting a law school on Saturday. Honestly not upset that I'm going to miss this. Hope I'm surprised.
I know it's crazy, but I'd start a front 6 of Flamini- Kallstrom-Arteta Gnabry-Giroud-Ox Maybe Rosicky for Arteta. If we had anyone who was a physical talent this is the game to start them, but I can't find any athletes on our team.
My thoughts exactly. No idea what to expect from this team, in this condition, at the current moment.
Wherever you got that from, please post the same for the other top 6 teams. I'd be interested to see if our incidence really is that much higher (because this seems insane).
I know nothing about this Physioroom site, this is the first time I've even heard of it. But I was curious, so I took a look at the number of "incidents" for Arsenal, City, Chelsea and United over the last 4 seasons (including this season, to date). I can see numerous ways in which this data could be flawed, (how it's reported, by whom, variances in and standards of reporting from club to club, etc) But anyway, here are the numbers: ..................2010-11.....2011-12....2012-13.....2013-14 Arsenal.........67..............73.............79..............95 United..........62..............82.............70.............83 Chelsea.........35..............59.............64.............44 City...............41..............37.............79..............53
Of all the four clubs, mentioned, City had better stats and fewer incidents since last year (-26), followed by Chelsea (-20), while we had the most incidents and the biggest jump in them from last year to this (+16), it proves that we are more incident-prone, Arsene Wenger had better do something about it fast or we are in serious danger of going 10 years without a trophy, and if that happens, then heads need to roll for the Gunners. I have a great deal of respect for Arsene Wenger as he inherited a club that was in turmoil in 1996-97 after George Graham was sacked, he made us perennial Champions League/title contenders every single season since then as well as winning 3 league titles, 4 FA Cups, and taking us to the Champions League Final in 2005-06. It would be a HUGE letdown if he has to go, but that's not up to me, nor any other Gooner for that matter, but with the off-pitch tabloid-like bullshit going on within the club this season (like the night club incident where Jack Wilshere was caught smoking), something has to be done, BIG-TIME!!!
Well, considering we've conceded an average of 5 goals against the top sides. I'll say we lost 5-1. Red card to Flamini. Sike, we win 4-0.
Yeah, fate has a funny way of working out. Given our luck, and given this is at the Emirates I won't be surprised if we play out of our minds and win
I get the feeling this will be a tight boring affair. Either 1 nil either way or most likely a 0-0 draw.
Here's a new set of goals for the rest of the season: -Don't lose by more than 3 goals - Don't conceded a penalty - Don't get any one sent off Everything else is gravy.
I have a good feeling about this game. If we play our own game, I'm sure our defense can stop Citeh. As long as they don't counter effectively like they did @ the Etihad, we do have a chance. Going for a draw.
Starting with Kallstrom who has played 0 games at Arsenal against a title contender like City? Really? LMFAO.
I'll continue along the vein of the OP... Though I have no idea why GM's pic is so much bigger than mine...
...and I can almost envision Cindy Margolis wearing an O2 shirt done up just like that one, great pic! Now, perhaps someone can Photoshop it and put Cindy in it. A slam dunk, the "Most Downloaded Woman On The Internet" seen in a custom-cut 2002-04 Arsenal home strip just like that one, how many more downloads can she pick up wearing that! Great job!
