Don't want to see a liability on the pitch.

Ramsey has been in AWFUL form the last few weeks. Giving away balls every other possession. Wenger should keep on the bench

Who else is there to play in the middle, though? Frimpong? Coq? Ox?

At this point, Frimpong or Coquelin would be better than Ramsey. I would let Ramsey watch from the bench and figure out how to get back to that unbelievable form he was in last year

and what exactly has frimpong shown to put him ahead of ramsey?

we are talking about the "red card machine" frimpong, right?
    "dench"?....more like "gash"

Don't get me wrong, Ramsey has been one of my favorites to watch. Obviously I want him starting most if not every game and lighting it up with his creativity, but only when he's in form. If he's going to hurt the team by giving the ball away in our own third, is that really a player you want on the pitch?

well, i'm NOT ramsey's biggest fan. he's half decent, nothing more nothing less. play others ahead of ramsey? sure...but even i wouldn't play frimpong ahead of ramsey. ramsey would need to be absolutely dreadful for that to happen, and so far he isn't quite that far down in form.

i dont know, frimpong shouldn't be just written off...
is he red card machine? he used to be..
frimpong has some assets to win games that ramsey will never have.

that said, coquelin is always ahead in that pecking order.
i'd be surprised to see frimpong again with the 1st team.
does ramsey help you win games? negative.

Yeah I don't get the Rsmsey love in here. I'm really starting to wonder if he needs a loan. I mean last season played him week in week out and he didn't regain his form. This season he is getting breaks and not getting form back, altho its early. He's just too mediocre at the moment.

Loaning him at the point would signal the end of his Arsenal career. I don't think we're anywhere near that. Ramsey is 'serviceable' - if he keeps his passing simple and stops trying to act like Zidane, he can be reliable.

He would be useful, and he could learn that somewhere else instead of fouling up important games here. Send him to Germany for a year.

I agree with you that it may be the end of his career. And I agree that if he kept it simple he could be ok. But the problem IS that he is trying to be Zidane and ends up losing the ball too much. He just kills our attack time after time.

I think that lineup will make most people happy. I just wish, you know, we had more than 1 center forward.

I'm just glad to see Coquelin get his chances. I think he could turn out to be a real good player for us.

Fair line-up, except that Santi & Mikel are getting pretty overworked... they're headed for injury or burnout I fear.

Gibbs on the bench I suspect to bail out Vermaellen if he has another howler. :p
