With all of our recently poor play not withstanding, for some reason I feel reasonably optimistic about this one. COYG!!!

p.s. Just keep TV6 away from central defense for a while longer!

I would like to see Santos on the bench, and one of Theo or Poldi replacing the hapless Giroud.

Jol will predictably park the bus. Perfect game for Cazorla to shine. Poldy is due for another goal. I am calling a 2-1 with 64% AFC possession.

Why? He scored last game and the Reading game.

now is the time to keep playing giroud and try to get him confident and scoring regularly.

i don't think so, but canstriker does.
if we had more width, i think giroud would work better with a partner (probably podolski), but i doubt that will happen.

Fulham's back line and DMs are really shakey. If Arsenal doesn't get 20-25 shots, I'll be amazed.

We need a game like this for confidence. I wonder who will start at left back for this one. I know I wanna see Kos at CB. Also, I wonder when Arteta is going to get a break.

With the form Arsenal are in, i'd be amazed if they got 5. I want to be confident about this one, but with how we played towards the end of last season in a big game v Fulham (granted different teams) and our current form, it's kind of tough to be really hopeful. I could see a tight 1-1, 2-2 draw or worse.

This image was on the front page of Soccernet this morning. Why does Vic Akers look like his pants are around his ankles and he's taking a dump on the bench?

    -----------Sczcesny-------

Honestly, would love to see this lineup. We need a few fresh players.
