He's trying to prove to the boss that he's not a winger ;)

We don't deserve to be in the knockout stages, nor to get 4th. I really wonder if Wenger is disgusted by this playing? Seems he's content with it.

Well, there was never really any fightback once they tied anyway.

Does Santos have enough time to give up a goal?

    Coq and Santos.
    Cazorla had a horrible game.
Can't blame Verm for that goal.

Is it just me, or is this Arsenal team increasingly... boring?

EDIT: I say that not having watched the Reading game.

I'm okay with 'boring'. It's 'mediocre' that I'm having trouble accepting.

Having a near heart attack every few minutes is not boring.

this team is just mediocre.. period.
1 very crafted goal by podolski, and a flukey bounce to get a goal for the other.
    never tested them besides that.

the defense is so makeshift (average).
the marking on corners is laughable.. we get beat almost every single time.

we can't create near enough chances, and those that we do, Giroud will screw it up anyway.
despite scoring a goal, he isn't good enough at this level.. let's just be honest with ourselves.

if it wasn't for BFG, we'd lose this game by 2 or 3 goals.

Agree - but it was Don Vito, not BFG, who saved the day.

Reading game was mostly youngsters - doesn't really count. I would echo what others have said on here ... our first team has no identity whatsoever. We aren't really sure what style we want to play yet and I'm not entirely sure there's much of a game plan at all based off the last months worth of performances. Put our best 11 out there and see what happens. That's the impression I'm getting from this football club right now and that lack of structure/discipline is quite apparent on the pitch. I find it a bit painful to watch personally.
